In addition to writing editorially as a part of my full time roles, I have written freelance both editorially and in a copywriting capacity for a number of publications and brands, including Quintessentially magazine, The Moodie Davitt Report, Pret AirPorter and Fred Perry. I am also a member of the Croudie Network, for creative agency Croud. I regularly copy edit and run quality assurance checks on content for clients including Virgin Trains, VF Corporation and Skrill.
While covering the maternity leave of SHOP magazine’s deputy editor, I took content lead on SHOP’s 60+ editions per year, and managing a team of dedicated section and language editors. Working closely with SHOP’s editor-in-chief and publisher, I am leading the restructuring of SHOP’s editorial offering, reviewing editorial, branded content strategy in order to maximising profitability and quality across SHOP’s portfolio of editorial, advertorial and map publications. This role combines project management, client facing communication and pitching, creative marketing solutions, magazine production and content creation and editing.
Tax free shopping experts Global Blue work with the world’s leading brands to offer tax free shopping services to high wealth international shoppers. As Global Blue’s Commercial Editor, I work with it’s various of international marketing and sales teams to produce both print publications and digital microsite campaigns for some of the world’s leading brands, including Vivienne Westwood, Burberry, Diesel, MaxMara and Tiffany & Co. This role combines product development and marketing strategy, content editing, project management, client facing communication and pitching, print and digital production and acting as the content lead in one of Global Blue’s most profitable media arms.
SHOP Magazine is the world’s leading traveller shopping magazine; publishing over 4 million magazines a year, in over 40 luxury shopping destinations across Europe, South America and Asia. As Production Editor I managed a team of artworkers, worked closely with more than 30 international marketing managers and multiple international printers, and liaised with advertisers and agencies to manage the creation and delivery of over 90 editions per year.
