Artist profile:
Coming from roots as diverse as Dream Theater to Coldplay, Bangalore based Pop-rock outfit Skytrip's music blends their influences to a firm pop sensibility.
Formed in 2015, with their origins in coastal Mangalore, India, Skytrip formerly known as This Little Question honed their chops in the Bangalore music scene and the college competitions circuit.
They developed a taste for vocal harmonies and memorable grooves in their songs, despite being equipped with seven string guitars, double bass drums and a rock spirit.
In 2018, signifying all they learnt and armed with a fixed five-piece lineup, the band evolved into a new sonic direction, changing their name to Skytrip.
With their innovative songwriting and tight musicianship, Skytrip is driven to create good honest music which resonates and transcends genres.
Skytrip has won 3 deals to record singles in the year 2017.
One of which is by Nathaniel School of Music, and the other two by Resonance Studios on two separate occasions.
