During my six month placement my responsibilities included: the running and scheduling of all the social media platforms, creating content for the social platforms (Instagram, Facebook and Twitter), managing competitions, managing adverts, updating the websites blog, creating copy for the online garment descriptions, managing and tracking press samples, tracking press coverage and creating press presentations, assisting on campaign and Ecommerce shoots, creating internal press emails, keeping up to date with social media trends and my brand knowledge and providing general office ad hoc support to the team.

As the Marketing and PR intern my tasks included: creating curated images (flat lays, behind the scenes shots of photoshoots, etc) for the social media sites where the company has a combined following of over 15k; images have gone on to be reposted by the brand itself, creating other suitable content using the ‘voice’ of the company, promoting new clothing brands and collections by creating blog posts for the company’s main website.
