About me
I’m a Social Media enthusiast and curious by nature, who early acquired the fondness to understand and the ability to influence people. I believe brands that try uncomfortable approaches have a massive advantage over their competitors. I was studying Economics and loving my course - strategy, amazing colleagues, and numbers were my 'cup of tea'! Then everything changed. With 20 years old, I interrupted my Economics Bachelor and decided to go to Africa to work in a Political Consulting new company. Although my expectations haven't been corresponded, I earned so much that I can say I am what I am because of this experience. During this time, I was invited to participate in a historical film as an extra. I was so fascinated by all that production that aroused in me a real interest in the digital world. I went back to Portugal and studied Multimedia. For about two years I put my hands on several digital tools framework. While running the course I put into practice my knowledge. For that, nothing better than having an artist friend with many admirers. I started by doing strategic digital planning to improve his social media dynamics, and later I also became his 360º career Manager. The fact that we were longtime friends helped me to transmit the person he is for those who followed him, making him a real and trusted role model. To finish the course I did an internship at one of the world's largest global communication groups, Havas, where I worked as a Community Manager. There, I had my first contact with global brands' digital, and that made me understand that each brand needs its specific way to reach its target. During the internship, I was invited to work at Publicis Groupe, for Arc Worldwide as a Community Manager, and then a more strategic role. Now, after managed huge brands like Samsung, Heineken, Garnier, or Nescafé, I apply all I learned keeping up with the digital world tendencies. I am looking for a big challenge!
