Trailer Park UK launch in February to continue the work of LA. My role as the Design Director was to help setup the agency, along with the rest of the management team, and continue to maintain the premium standards I had whilst at Engine. My variety of in-depth knowledge and skills from the print and digital world have proved essential in the setup and win of some major clients such as Red Bull TV.
I have been working in advertising and marketing for over 17 years in every role in studios spanning Artworking and Design to Director of Studio. I have setup and overseen design for both digital and print, artwork, digital builds, press repro, initiated processes, delivered profits and improved creativity. In the past 5 years I have also been required to think strategically for individual jobs and am a sounding board for problem jobs. I pride myself on working well with others, helping them to produce high quality work, accurately, to tight deadlines and on budget.
I joined PAA when they were just 40 strong as the Head of Studio. My role was to improve and oversee all the design and artwork, setup workflow processes and create the briefing and billing systems for the studio. As well as successfully achieving this I managed to convert the studio from something that was deemed a drain on the agency, into a considerable profit centre.
After starting as a Creative Artworker I was promoted to Studio Manager in December 2003, I helped develop the studio along with an ambitious agency growing from 4 to 15 (agency numbers: 35-115), the skill sets managed ranged from Junior Artworkers to Prepress and Designers/Typographers.
Once back from travelling I was employed for three months as an Senior Creative Artworker at Lowe and then two months at TBWA.
Whilst Travelling around Australia I worked as a Senior Creative Artworker for Imperic (Y&R).
My role was to set up the studio from scratch, including purchasing all the hardware, software and infrastructure whilst pitching for new work. My role spanned everything from artworking, retouching, design and finance.
After joining as a Studio Junior I was promoted to Creative Artworker, and then onto the Studio Manager of the below the line side of the agency.
I qualified with 3 NVQ level 2's and 3 in: Business and Office Technology Data Processing and Information Programming in Spreadsheet Methods Relational Database Methods and Programming Word Processing
