The purpose of this role is to provide daily broadcast schedules for TX for multiple Sony channels including Sony Movie Channel, KIX, True Drama and True Movies 2. This includes maintaining accurate data such as; programme information, trailers & promos, commercial breaks, sponsorship & channel branding. To effectively manage late promotional, programme and channel changes micromanaging workflow in a timely and professional manner.

Interviewee's included; Hugh Grant, Simon Helberg (Big Bang Theory), Producer Tracey Seaward (War Horse), Director Stephen Frears (High Fidelity & Philomena) and Composer Alexandre Desplat (The King's Speech & The Curious Case of Benjamin Button).
• Migrating data from the scheduling system Media Machine onto WHAT’S ON accounting for all channels; Channel 5, 5 USA, 5*, 5+24 & Spike. • Assisting planning & scheduling departments with programme title & time changes, series links, media assets (HD, Aspect Ratio, Audio). • Daily schedule checks, scheduling programmes across all channels in time for weekly press deadlines & general Ad hoc duties. • Inputting data on behalf of the Channel coordinator for Buying orders including; Acquisitions/ Commissioned series, Rights, Production company, Cost, Cash flow etc.
Cutting when cued by Director to Studio ensuring smooth output for live/ pre-recorded TV. Using Final Cut Pro to capture live feed onto database and assist MSO with guiding Presenter. Helping assist Presenter/ Puppeteer with props ensuring correct viewer information was available. Also partaking in show prep, checking schedules matched, managing talk-back & general admin.
Shadowing live gallery/ studio. Working with researchers for weekly themes & show ideas. Interacting with audience members & greeting guests on Live show.
Gems TV is a family run business that operates selling jewellery on TV 24/7, with over £100million turnover per year. My role; (Senior Producer) producing the prime time shift, chasing live sales, maximizing profits and air time. Working to given show sales targets, supporting Presenters with sales information, product knowledge and general direction. Scheduling four hour shows, researching competitors, working with the Production Crew to successfully translate creative ideas into reality. Covering sickness and Presenting occasionally via the studio talkback system demonstrating product, encouraging viewers to buy and completing sales. Working on behalf of Bury Hospice’s Capital Appeal ‘Building a New Hospice for Bury’; liaising with donors and Hospice staff and volunteers. Assisting fundraising events for third party and corporate including a Thanksgiving black tie dinner which raised £5000, Forever Bury FC v Celebrity All Stars football match which raised over £3,300 for the Hospice as well as Help for heroes and Coronation Streets 50th Anniversary Charity. General research and analysis of high level donors, banking donations/ thanking donors via Raisers Edge, filing trust applications, scheduling Directors diary, handling phone/ email enquiries, sourcing raffle/ auction prizes. Blogging on behalf of the Capital Appeal, Social networking via Facebook/ Twitter and updating the website. Liaising with local media (MEN, Bury Times and Radcliffe News) and fundraisers for press coverage on a weekly basis. Attending weekly networking events, encouraging corporate support for ‘Charity of the year’ and various other, hosting road show about the New Hospice for general public Q&A.

Customer service, till sales, stock replenishment, date rotation, Link sales/ gift cards, fitting rooms, cashing up, merchandising, . Stock-take, cleaning shop floor, returns and exchanges/ faulty goods. Product knowledge, attending meetings regarding sales targets, performance analysis and appraisals.
