About me

I am a Freelance Durban based illustrator and graphic designer. My strongest influences are french rococo flourishes the escapism and organicness of it and the way in which humans have used plants for rituals, medicine and meaning in their lives. My work is influenced largely by a fascination with both tangible and biological elements intertwined with fantasy and cultural folklore and festivals. Inviting detailed realism into a surreal working space is at the heart of my artwork. I use ink and pencils mostly because of the detail it lets me have, I also love oil painting and sometimes paint digitally.. I know this will be the best way in which I can help change society for the better by donating some of my earnings to great causes to lessen the massive inequalities of manmade social constructs.

  Midas Woodland - British Endangered motifI was inspired by my Norwegian heritage of rosemaling swirls and viking knotwork.
