I have worked as a freelance designer and illustrator since 2007 and have experience in many aspects of book design including illustration, page layout, cover design and typographic styling. My main area of expertise is layout and content design for educational children’s books, with a specialism in craft and activity titles.
I produce colourful, quirky book designs using a combination of letterpress, illustration, collage and digital image manipulation. I also enjoy running workshops as a visiting author in primary schools and libraries, inspiring children to make and illustrate a book using recycled materials.
