Working in a vibrant London start-up environment, this role is for a clever little mobile app to make the chore of doing grocery shopping more pleasant. Because of the complexity behind the automated system, I'm positioned as the human touch to help more and more people benefit from it. It's my role to guide new users smoothly into the journey, to listen to them for valuable feedback, and to organise the noise into meaningful suggestions to make Shopitize better and easier to bring value to our community.
In an idea that may sound extremely unconventional, I launched my own quarterly professional wrestling magazine in April 2014. What started as an assignment for university has now blossomed into a fully fledged start-up online brand that is selling and distributing magazines both domestically in the United Kingdom and also internationally in countries such as the United States, Brazil and even Japan. The role has allowed me to expand a number of skill sets, including managing others, client liaison and daily multi-tasking. Get in touch and I’ll gladly send a copy over.
Single-handedly running the social media sites (including Facebook and Twitter) for two bars and a family fun park, paying careful attention to accurately represent the brands and advertise upcoming events. The family fun park in particular was ranked as Northern Ireland's 7th top tourist attraction in 2013. Each page has seen number of 'likes' at the very least double under my management. Also undertook some graphic work for the role, utilising Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
