    I joined Naim to transition the company from its niche Hi-Fi proposition to a highly visible brand in the new dynamic world of connected home audio. The mission was to successfully launch new product categories into mainstream retailers and to the attention of global media, without distraction to the high-end nature of the existing range. Accountable at board level for the Vervent Audio Group with a turnover in excess of €100m. This role has taken me beyond my marketing roots, adding full P&L accountability for end-to-end business units such as the Naim Mu-so product category, encompassing sales management, operations, logistics and product lifecycle management.

    The IBD (International Business Development) team was created to support the growth of distributor markets, to plan the acquisition of future subsidiaries or merger of territories and the launch into new unchartered regions. The task was to lead marketing and brand communications for Dyson’s disparate Global portfolio of distributor led territories; this included EMEA, NORDICS, APAC and LATAM. A truly global role operating in markets such as Brazil, China and Taiwan to help develop joint business plans with multiple, unique and vastly different local businesses. The role covered consumer product ranges such as Dyson Floorcare and Environmental Control, alongside B2B commercial products working with the Dyson Airblade range. My role spanned the entire spectrum of marketing communication, PR to Product, Creative to Retail, with the challenge to ensure the correct blend of localization and strict brand guidelines was in place. Launch planning was a large part of the role, sharing plans, briefing agencies and ensuring both my team and the local markets had everything in place to launch on time, on budget and to maximum effect.
