    Whisky SpecialistThe Whisky Shop
    Nottingham, United KingdomFull Time
I currently work for the Whisky Shop, a role I took in August 2018. Developed an expert knowledge on the whisky industry, distilleries, bottling’s, processes and flavour profiles. • Applied this knowledge to take the customer on a whisky journey that will lead to the discovery of their personal palette. • Helping to unlock the mystery of whisky first, to increase the number and value of sales. • Maintain stock levels. • Merchandise the store to help boost sales and meet targets. • Hosted tasting events for 20+ people, presenting several whiskies at each event guiding the attendees through the history of the distillery, the bottling and the tasting notes they potentially should be picking out. • Dealing with high end clientele and investors, procuring and selling individual bottles valued between £500-£2000 at a time.
