About me
I am a recent Psychology graduate and I was fortunate enough to have been exposed to multiple disciplines such as marketing, economics, criminology and research. This has meant I have developed analytical, communication, organisation and many other skills. I have been involved with many volunteering projects with a diverse variety of people, both in age and background. My career objectives are to combine my psychological insights and passion with logical and analytical way of thinking. I want to develop upon my existing skills and learn new skills. I love to learn and am an extremely driven individual, displayed by completing a Google Analytics, Ads and Advanced excel course this summer since graduating and am due to start a Python coding course in October. Therefore another a career objective would be to find a role which involved continuous professional development. I have always been passionate about the well-being of others and have been involved in many volunteering projects, including a two month mental health placement in Sri Lanka. I love meeting new people and taking on new challenges hope to start my career by being given a chance to build and grow upon my fundamental skills.

I worked over the summer as a Hostess for a high end Kosher restaurant. This role entailed taking bookings, organising the restaurant floor and staff, ensuring smooth running of service, being the first face these high paying customers saw and thus, the first person to deal with issues and conflicts. I had to respond to queries and problems whilst managing that all other customers were seated, served and that staff were organised in a timely manner. Additionally, this role was different to other hostess roles due to the nature of the restaurant. It was one of the most expensive Kosher restaurants in London and in the Jewish religion money cannot be exchanged on Shabbat. However, the restaurant offered shabbat dinner on a Friday night and lunch on a Saturday. This was a set price and all customers had to prepay and pre-order their food by a cut off time each week. Part of my role was to organise these events, take the bookings, follow up orders and payments and ensure everything was planned perfectly due to the nature of the event and jewish laws of cooking on shabbat as the food was made to order and any mistakes would lead to extremely unsatisfied customers.
