• Nov 2022 - Present: Designing and knitting swatches from initial research images and key words for their PF23 Womenswear and AW23 Menswear collection. Hand-knitting 2 fully-fashioned intarsia jumpers that were designed in response to my sample swatch.
• Aug - Sept 2022: Working with the atelier team to create trim samples and finishings for an open weave Womenswear SS23 show look. Trialling macrame, seamless side-seams and fabric stiffening whilst working with seamstresses to finalise the construction of the final garment, including alterations from fittings. Additional ad-hoc tasks in the department including garment print placement, making textiles samples from research, and making draped toiles on the stand.
• Nov 2021: Design, develop and make pom-poms, plaits and crochet circles for a customisation event held in their Soho store.
• Aug - Dec 2020: Knit sample production of hoods, neck-warmers, snoods and jumpers for their Menswear AW21 show. Designing knit structure from basic measurements or pre-existing garment shapes. Also knitted several dresses, vests and bags as part of the collection development. Textiles consultant for best ways for knit to work with print on top. Located and ordered the right colour in dye lot, quality and quantity of yarn, whilst saying in budget.
• Jul 2020: Design and knit a full-face covering lace stitch balaclava for a photoshoot prop option.
• May - Jun 2020: Design development of stitch structures and hand-knitted a dress for their Menswear SS21 show. Dress was later used in the Sam Smith music video ‘Kids Again’.
• Dec 2019 - Jan 2020: Re-knit two hooded tassel jackets from the Womenswear SS20 show commissioned by Dover Street Market Ginza.
