I am an experienced administrator and events coordinator with an upper second-class biosciences degree. My events history has specialised in fundraising, sporting and promotional projects.
My primary responsibility is to act as the key point of contact for the firm with regards to all brand enquiries. In the office of over 100, as well as working on reception, I solely handle all office administration and facilities duties, requiring a high level of organisation and time management.
volunteered for four hours each week at a homeless long stay hostel for young people in Covent Garden. The hostel is understaffed; my volunteering reduced the administrative burden on key workers, allowing them to concentrate on carrying out important sessions with the residents.
Throughout my degree I was a member of the University of London Air Squadron where my main achievements included completing 14 hours and flying solo in a grab tutor airplane, becoming a certified mountain leader and gaining my elementary paragliding pilot license. I also worked in a team of 4 to organise large events including the Christmas Ball.
In 2011, Castle Tri was a hugely successful start-up sporting event, attracting over 4,000 participants and spectators at the inaugural Hever Castle race. My main role was to recruit and co-ordinate 150 volunteers, running up to and on the day of the events.
