Currently I am working within asset management, I love being creative and working with a variety of tasks interests me. I take pride in the relationships I possess, as I know this is vital to be successful and productive. As well as this, I hold a readiness to learn and adapt, to ensure excellent execution of tasks. My trainee scheme at Janus Henderson has encouraged me to want to learn more as my curiosity around marketing has grown and I believe I am ready to excel in my career. Working within a team is something I enjoy as hearing different views sparks notions, however, I also take pride in working independently as owning activities has taught me how to pay keen attention to detail.
• Assist with day-to-day activities of the Corporate Brand and Marketing department. The full range of department activities includes: development of the corporate and brand proposition, brand strategy, brand management including global audits, brand measurement, market research, corporate marketing • Day to day project management and coordination of owned activities such as client relationships development program • Planning and production of communications, literature, videos(subtitling and translating), digital content, such as web uploading and sourcing images • Creating email templates though pardot • Assist with management of external suppliers, consultancies, partners and agencies as required in the UK and globally • Work closely with, and be a point of contact for, other teams and departments, especially marketing teams in EMEA/LatAm, APAC and North America
• Working with individual customers in securing a sale that best suits the consumers’ needs • Multi-tasking skills, by dealing with customers whilst also assisting colleagues • Trained to use in store IT equipment effectively and the ability to support with the training of others
• Provided a challenge as the store was known for high end brands retailing at the more expensive end of the spectrum. As a result, customers required a high level of attention and care, but also expected you to have an in-depth knowledge of the brands which were available to buy. • Responsible for stock control
• Utilised communication skills to provide excellent customer service • Worked well under pressure during busy periods, such as boxing day • Displayed an ability to multi-task by dealing with customers whilst also assisting colleagues • An acute knowledge of stock held allowing me to serve customers to the best of my ability • A valued member of the team due to my commitment to business needs (extra hours etc.)
