About me
As a Psychology Graduate I excelled in all my Statistics courses (compulsory in every term in the 3 years course) and completed research projects and lab experiments using both small and large datasets and quantitative and qualitative research methods. Working in SEO, my curiosity and aptitude with working with big data sets allowed me to create content gap analyses using sentiment analysis and social listening tools, in order to inform decisions on content. I also looked within the code of websites of competitors and using custom excel formulas identified the elements and how they are used in order to advise on the web page layouts and elements for my clients to use to get google pull out features. Left to my own devices i enjoy researching and analysing large data sets, teaching myself how to work with VBAs and dabbling in R for visual exploration. I am very advanced and self taught in Excel, Index and Matching and using and developing these skills to benefit my time and the teams I worked with creating dashboards to save time off reporting. Most of the above has been self taught and I have no doubt within the right team, I will be a valued and effective member for the team and company with a bright career ahead. I hope that I might find the opportunity for that.

    Psychology BScUniversity of Sussex
     - Brighton, United Kingdom
Key Modules: - Research Skills and Discovering Statistics - Research Project
- Economic and Consumer Psychology - Cognitive Neuroscience
During my course I was able to develop a good mix of subject specific, technical and transferable core skills including: numeracy skills and use of a wide variety of statistics for both qualitative and quantitative data, a part of my course that I excelled in. I developed an understanding of different disciplines within Psychology, skills in critical thinking, writing and time-management, and took leadership roles for group projects to ensure that they were completed to a high standard. For my empirical project I designed and executed an experiment using a E-Prime to look at different effects on anxiety. I collected data from 60 participants and analysed the data on my own with guidance from my supervisor. Considering the sensitive nature of the research, good communication, developing rapport with participants, and an understanding of confidentiality was necessary.
