I'm a Toronto-born,UK-based multimedia journalist. An extremely driven individual, my work has appeared in the print and online editions for a wide range of popular consumer titles including Complex (Online), VIBE, L'Uomo Vogue, Dazed & Confused, Harper's Bazaar UK (Online), ELLECanada.com, Interview and CLASH. My areas of expertise are short and long-form features covering hip-hop culture and high-end fashion; I've interviewed a plethora of figures in both industries. I have a sharp eye (and ear) for trends and budding, up-and-coming talent be it in music or fashion.
I'm available for writing assignments. I am keen on digging deeper into contemporary culture, politics and well-being. I am also interested in writing reference books (in a quixotic world, for Taschen, Phaidon and Rizzoli), radio presenting (Mark Kermode and Simon Mayo are, hands down, my all-time favourite personalities), and producing segments for TV and Online.
