  • Providing direct support for the performers in the Curve during the Eddie Peake: Forever Loop installation. This requires confidence in approaching visitors and a pro-actively identifying and resolving any issues that may occur in the gallery space. Whilst supervising the space it is necessary to communicate effectively with the performers, invigilators and security to ensure the smooth running of the installation. After the closure of this exhibition the role then continued, this involves supporting the Gallery Coordinators with such things as key management on site, conflict management, logistical support to invigilators and the spaces and ensuring the Art Gallery is open and at optimum operational standards.

  • Invigilating various exhibitions to the highest possible standard, monitoring the gallery to ensure adherence to all relevant health and safety procedures. I actively promoted exhibitions and events taking place on site and became fully aware of the venue’s history, current program and building layout, creating an exemplary customer experience. I was entrusted with the security of the gallery; responsible for keys, radios and the open and close down of the gallery on a daily basis. A proactive approach was taken to problem solving whilst operating the exhibition’s ticketing system, maintaining a professional, visitor focused approach. Providing feedback where necessary for venues improvements, such as cleaning and building maintenance.
