About me
Hi, I’m Sally, a softly-spoken actor and voice over artist with a home studio offering excellent audio quality. Are you looking for an educated, calming voice for your corporate video, explainer or charity fundraising video? I offer a friendly service and fast turnaround in whatever format you prefer. Trained as an actor on the postgraduate course at ArtsEducational London, I’ve got a British RP accent (from London, I grew up in Norwich so Norfolk comes naturally too) and my voice is most often described as “soothing and velvety”. I love working with charities: I’ve volunteered for Mind, as a telephone counsellor for the Association for Postnatal Illness and for Alexandra Palace with Haringey care home residents with dementia. I’m also keen to use my voice to highlight environmental issues. Previous clients include: 🦆The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust 🌳The Future Oak Project ⚡️Energy Rev 🏗Sweco 💊Janssen I work with great people who have been kind enough to say nice things like this: “Sally’s voiceovers are always on time and on brief. Her voice is exceptionally clear and calm, perfect for most applications,” Ben Haynes. “Apart from being a talented and highly skilled actor, Sally also provides a kind, calm and honest voice in the rehearsal room,” Charissa Martinkauppi, director. “Sally was very responsive and professional, offering us lots of options in terms of tone and pace. The final production was perfect first time and of excellent recording quality," Edwin Stemp. I love acting, poetry and drama, and art and craft too, having had a stint as a jewellery designer. I’m passionate about the power of the arts for mental health and have produced a podcast, Creative Twist, about the power of coming back to creativity after a break. It’s available on all your favourite podcast platforms... 🎧😉 https://creativetwist.captivate.fm/listen With a background in journalism (I’ve spent more than 10 years as a subeditor on national newspapers including The Sunday Times and writing financial news for the Swedish bank SEB) I know how important it is to hit a deadline and can work calmly under pressure. In fact, as I’m training as a meditation teacher at the moment, I might even help you stay calm while we work together too. Have a listen to my work on my website and feel free to give me a call for a free sample of your script. I’d love to work with you. 📞+44 7958 441 666 📧info@sallyvanderpump.com @sallyvanderpump My acting agent is Edwin Lowe at 1Artists Agency and he can be contacted on 07789 935248 or edwin.lowe@1artistsagency.com
