About me
My interest for digital marketing comes from its ever growing industry and the idea of always learning something new. I use technology everyday, I'm very comfortable with it and believe myself to be proficient with many different types of software as well as able to learn to use new software quickly, for example, during a work experience placement at an executive research firm, I was able to learn and master several new types of software, including filefinder (large database software with over 500,000 profiles), nitro (PDF editing software) and indesign. As well as this I believe that I’m also a great team player and enjoy working collaboratively with different people. Not only am I able to share my opinions, but I’m also able to be inspired by those who also share the same passion as me. I am a friendly, open and enthusiastic individual so my communication is a strength I have both written and verbal. I’ve experienced this on a day to day basis such as typing emails or simply just by communicating with those around me. Im a also great at prioritising my work and meriting organised. I’ve demonstrated this during my summer work experience with Perrett Laver, where I had to work with different sectors in the company such as finance, non profits, social care etc. This was a huge challenge for me as I haven’t done this previously, but being able to time manage my workload, I was able to get through all my task and meet the deadline for each of the task given. I have enjoyed designing as growing up from sketching an art piece on a paper to building 3D models of art work. I've also grown up around family members who have also had a passion for designing and this has taken a huge influence in my interest in designing. As part of educational studies I have studied GCSE Art and am currently studying product design A level. What I love most about designing is that I get to take charge of my designs and I feel like I can be free with what I design and make, it also gives me the opportunity to express my passion for designing. Artworks can also hold meanings behind them which I feel would be a great way to express your emotions. I have also studied Sociology and English literature A level which will help me boost my understanding of the social aspects that affect designing. I've pursued my interest in designing by attending a 'Nike on air' event where I went to a lecture to meet and discuss with a professional designer regarding materialistic uses in the designing industry. This then helped me broaden my understanding of the different types of designing as well as the process and making of a product. One of my other main interests besides designing is sports. I have attended many after school sports clubs such as basketball, netball and football within four years. I also coached a basketball team and helped them prepare for an upcoming match event. Over these years I have really developed my teamwork skills and leadership skills that have helped me become more confident and made me feel more passionate about my interest.
