About me
For the past five years, I have been working on dozens
(and dozens) of student film sets with the odd
professional role. This has meant that I have undertaken
pretty well every role in a film crew but more often than
not, I find myself drawn to the camera team. To improve
my technical skills, I have taken two separate short-form
cinematography courses at USC and the New York Film
Academy.
My various film festival roles have given me solid
experience in admin and logistics. Both before and
during these events, I have managed small groups of
volunteers, organized travel and accommodation for
filmmakers and, even acquired sponsors for the festival
itself.
While working on dozens of student films, I have seen
every set disaster under the sun. From absent crew,
difficult actors, faulty equipment, and the merciless
London weather, I know how badly a shoot can run. I
pride myself on doing everything I can, whatever the
situation, to make sure a set runs well. With that, I will
always strive to be the most useful asset to any
department with any role I would be fortunate enough to
get.
