I work across three departments (fine jewellery, designer, contemporary) with over 100 brands, managing Selfridges online selection. High attention to detail. I manage workflow across three teams (image, copy, digital) quickly and effectively. Time to site management. Forward planning to meet tight deadlines for product launches. Delivering special projects. I led the effort for Selfridges online to remove all exotic products from concession brands, with over 500 products being changed or removed.
Part of the creative team making catalogues of looks and garments for three collections, working to very tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment. Visual research. The core of my role was to respond to creative briefs to compile thousands of research images and photography to inform collections. Working with the Creative Director. My work was based on interpreting the Director’s vision, working through iterations and feedback. Sampling & sourcing. I worked with external suppliers and factories to secure fabrics and work on garment mechanics. Working from concept to final product. End to end, from concept to garment on the runway. Managing workflow as a team and independently to strive for the perfect final garment for the detail oriented brand.
Shop floor role for a luxury brand, requiring excellent client service, tough KPIs (I was elected a KPI ambassador due to high performance), and motivating and training the sales team.
A four year fashion design course, taking me through form research-concept- to final garment. Completing a dissertation in the final year along with a business model. This covered the workings of professional practice in the industry and creating a business proposal for our collection and idea of a future brand.
