About me
I am a twenty-two-year-old student who is currently studying Creative Business at InHolland University in the Netherlands. I am extremely passionate about music – the process of creating music to music distribution. I currently act as an advisor to up-and-coming musicians, and I am a producer. I have been fortunate enough to have many years of experience working in various businesses. I am enthusiastic, athletic, and motivated, which makes me a passionate individual that will consistently adhere to the standards set by a business and continuously achieve the goals that have been set.
I have loved music all my life, it helps me learn, think, and feel, often simultaneously. The passion I have for it grows stronger each day and it motivates me to make the next day greater than the last. I began playing piano at the age of eight and since discovering rap music, I have been trying to surround myself with musicians for both networking purposes and collaborative ones. I was born in the UK, but I am of Jamaican heritage which has influenced my musical style substantially. I have been listening to Jazz, Funk and Reggae from a young age. These improvisational and stylistic elements have shaped the producer and person I am today.
My work as a manager and creative director has led to an upcoming artist receiving significant exposure with an increase of 586% in Spotify streams over the course of one year. With that being my first time managing a musical artist, I am considerably determined to provide better and more consistent results while continuously adapting to the trends of the industry. While I am confident when completing an assignment independently, I find the collaborative process often produces higher quality content.
Since I began my bachelor’s degree, I have been actively networking, producing, and collaborating with as much talent in the entertainment industry as possible. It has provided me with invaluable experience that has strengthened both my creative and business skills significantly.
Aside from music, I am a passionate film critic due to my prior education in Film Studies. Moreover, I began 2022 by learning key Photoshop and Premier skills that have universal application in the entertainment industry.
I am a calculated, detail oriented and motivated individual that will persistently dedicate themselves to the task at hand.
