Freelance Audio Producer and Music ProgrammerLondon, United Kingdom
About me
I am an experienced creative producer, with an extensive background in music, radio and digital media. I have a great passion for devising new content formats and developing talent, and I have a deep understanding of all the nuances and disciplines essential to delivering a successful media platform. This has most recently evolved through my work at Worldwide FM over five years, where I hold the position of Senior Programmer and Producer. It has been an incredible space to hone expertise across a multitude of hybrid digital and broadcast skills and functions, spanning live streaming, social media ideation and management, videography, branded content delivery, and event management. I am proud to have produced many audio, visual and live broadcasts and events across the UK and internationally, including festival stages at We Out Here, Amsterdam Dance Event, Worldwide Festival and broadcasts in Morocco, Moscow and the USA. I have worked with brands and organisations including WeTransfer, The Arts Council, The Warehouse Project, Keep Hush, MTV, Crack Magazine, The Hydra and Beavertown Brewery amongst others. Having achieved a great deal in the past five years, I am now looking for a new challenge to continue my development.

Responsible for music programming across all non-specialist radio shows, using personal editorial judgement to ensure a well balanced musical output and ensuring station objectives are met. Collaborated closely with radio pluggers and show producers to balance championing new music and ways to support artist campaigns whilst ensuring station objectives to improve representation and diversity. Identified areas and audiences where the station's music library lacked representation and initiated strategies for improvement using my deep knowledge of artist catalogues. Managed the back-end organisation of the music library, with a strong focus on maintaining key song and artist metadata to streamline content accessibility. Curated content calendars for major station celebrations, ensuring a well-coordinated musical experience. Skilfully programmed music features and special station-wide celebratory days to enhance audience engagement and tailor the station's musical offerings. Produced research documents for all show production teams, offering insights on newly playlisted tracks to facilitate informed programming decisions and on-air conversations.
