After working at digital magazine, BURO.London, as 1 of 2 Graphic & Motion Designers - mainly creating current and bespoke graphics for our website and social platforms, covering all things Fashion, Culture, Beauty & Lifestyle - I am always looking to learn from others and excel, seeking to refine and develop my craft; whilst creating positive work relationships in the studio through good chats, decent music taste and cheesy smiles!
With a burning passion for design in all aspects, but more specifically motion, big type, fashion and music; my past work reflects my eye for digital design partnered with my avidity for music, reinforcing this direction of animation and motion-based graphics influenced by and in-sync with sound - adaptable to boosting any brand or service's identity and presence in the modern market.
Being raised within a diverse musical background, I have always been fascinated by the relationship between the visual and auditory aesthetic and how this can influence our perception and consumption of an idea.

London, United KingdomFull Time
JOB ROLE: A full-time role at a fast paced digital magazine. Working directly with the editorial team and the social media manager. Primary day-to-day duties and responsibilities involved the creation of bespoke graphics, animations, and content for our website, as well as adapting these designs for our social media channels. Other roles also included building the newsletter twice a week, and developing our visual approach to the Instagram - aiming to encourage more interaction and engagement from the audience and also more variation across our five pillars and various franchises.
KEY SKILLS & QUALITIES DEVELOPED: Learnt to adapt and develop motion design styles to maintain and stay consistent to the ‘BURO-fied’ aesthetic, whilst at the same time becoming more conscious of how to better design for web and optimise site performance through our animations. Was always pushed to problem solve quickly and efficiently to keep the site and social media page’s output rates running smoothly, whilst interaction rates ever- growing. This taught me how to communicate my ideas and then accordingly respond to criticism and effectively contribute to a small team; enabling me to fine tune my concepts at a rapid rate - whilst still giving “exceptional attention to detail” (See Reference Letter from J.Martinez) - and naturally evolving my design process and software skills even further.
