Point of contact for the accessories area in the UK photographic team. • Creating and hosting monthly accessories meetings for the photography team. • Researching, testing and putting together a proposal for an improved way of photographing Spherical jewellery pieces, a process which no company has successfully communicated at present. • Hosting numerous workshops for photographers to gain skills and enforce a standardisation of high quality imagery across the website. • Forming a connection with external events, particularly phase one to gain more knowledge on the camera and software. I secured a day for a representative to come into the studio assess our workflow and demonstrate useful timesaving and work enhancing features. • Coordinating with the US accessories team to create a new accessories style guide, reshooting product and having regular update meetings. • Photographing fine watches, fine jewellery, beauty, model sets, still life and social media briefs. • Checking accessories contact sheets and providing necessary feedback for improvement and encouragement. • Working with a team of retouchers to roll out a buddy system, allowing both teams to understand each others workflow and gain new skills in a particular area, allowing both teams to collaborate more frequently and with ease. • Working on improving the way of photographing jewellery through testing and providing workshops to team members, this enabled many to gain new skills and enhance a way of working. • Conducting and presenting competitor research for NAP model meetings to engage in discussion and inspiration for future testing. • Training Freelancers and new starters on Accessories and model sets. • Providing training for junior members on the more skilled areas such as fine jewellery, watches and beauty. • Point of contact for Demi fine jewellery still life area, which involved creating guides, workshops and coordinating with the wider business for consistency. • Consistently achieving high numbers across all sets and a low number of reshoots, and a request for alternative imagery on sessions. • Working on a ‘how to guide’ for photographing certain products on accessories, Such as sunglasses, jewellery, specific materials and how to make the most of equipment. • Working on a way of making photographing overhead product easier. • Producing high quality imagery for the social media channels and lifestyle imagery across Net A Porter and the Outnet • Set short and long term objectives both personal and for the business. • Working with site specific softwares such as Fulcrum, PID Butler and JIRA to manage admin. • Using layers and mark ups on Photoshop to communicate effectively with retouchers. • Selecting and producing a handover for all my responsibilities to ensure the high standards and learning continue.
