Projects
- Making recycling easy. The primary purpose for this bin is to improve public recyling accuracy. Most current public recycling bins are mis-used resulting in the waste becoming unrecyclable. The bin works on the concept that it's transparency will encourage people to work together and recyclle effectively giving them a mini reward.
- Alternative to a shoe box.Clarks Originals are a cutting edge brand who are not afraid to mix classic with groundbreaking. This is proved by their recent collaboration with Supreme on their classic 'Desert Boot'. The brief was to understand the brand and design a mode of transport for Clarks Originals which would be headturning on the highstreet.
- Outdoor dining. An un addressed problem in summer are those pesky picnic pests. People are unable to enjoy their food without wasps being attracted to the party. Wasps are also a key factor to a healthy ecosystem as they produce small amounts of yeast. This wasp trap catches pests with an alcoholic bait meaning they can be safely returned to their environment after the user has enjoyed their al-fresco dining experience in peace.
- Aston Inspired LogoAston University required a new logo for the 'Aston Inspired' design show. This logo needed a 3D element to it to be used as a marketing piece and also needed to tie in with the overarching University brand. The 'Aston Triangle' is used on the left hand side of the ribbon to create a rippled paper effect, inspired by countless designs being scrapped and thrown in the direction of a bin.
