Hello. I'm Sam, a Graphic Designer from the UK with over ten years experience. I’ve been involved in projects spanning brand identity, art direction, packaging, moving image, wayfinding, environmental, print and digital design. Producing meaningfully creative and memorable solutions based on strategic and creative thinking. I’ve helped to build brands from both the inside and out, working in some of London’s top design agencies as well as in house within innovative businesses. Combining the power of storytelling, design and technology, they create products that give all grown ups creative superpowers to make magical, meaningful connections with the children in their lives. I worked with this talented bunch on developing new product concepts, creating a visual environment for an international book fair in Beijing, and directing on and off line advertising.

Combining the values of professional design with the accessibility and reach of digital technology, they're disrupting a 500 year-old, $640 billion global industry. Making great design available to all. I helped lead a full rebrand to steer the company through a phase of rapid growth and expansion.
Moving client side, I was brought on to help reposition and define this innovative footwear brand across all digital, print, product and environmental touch points. Mentoring junior designers whilst working closely with the Creative Director and founding entrepreneur Marcia Kilgore, it gave me an invaluable insight into the process and requirements of taking a product to market and the tangible role design plays at every level in maintaining a competitive edge.
I had the honour of beginning my career learning a great deal from some exceptionally talented people, including founding partner Mike Dempsey. I worked with a range of clients from independent cultural institutions, international NGOs, and FTSE100 corporations on projects spanning brand identity, print, editorial, digital, reporting and way finding.
