  • In charge of a vibrant gallery in the heart of Chelsea until re-development of the building occurred. Curation of shows providing established and emerging artists a platform for their work. Responsible for sales, P.R., social media, planning and hosting of events and art-handling. Shows included 'Disclosure: The Covert World Of The Artist Assistant'​ involving Turner Nominee Simon Patterson's '10 Commandments for the artist assistant' written especially for the show. Show programmes included artist Q&As, lectures and guest talks included the controversial politician George Galloway.

  • Working with an established designer, I was invited to collaborate on a project involving the British Museum, using my creative vision to research the prestigious archive finding imagery and objects that would translate into a successful line of fashion merchandise for high-end stores, raising the profile and brand awareness of this global institution. Key Responsibilities included sourcing imagery from the British Library archive, overseeing the design process of accessories within the current market, liaising with factories in Europe and Asia on quality control of sample production.

  • Achievements: Trebling of student numbers to GCSE uptake, assisting sixth form pupils gaining places at high profile institutions, the creation of ambitious workshops to generate student interest, challenging misconceptions of contemporary art, positive engagement of all individuals regardless of ability, delivery of a school-wide artist profile. Appointed for a year, expanded to two years and living and working on-site, I maintained a transparent studio practice for staff and pupils (13-18) and devised a series of lectures about art and my practice. During my tenure, art became the most popular subject in the school's history.
