The small business supplies handcrafted textile based lighting fixtures to clientele around the world. I produced crochet samples to be sent out to potential clients, ensuring consistently high quality and demonstrating attention to detail, working both independantly and as part of team.
I took on the responsibility of sourcing materials for the Decorex interior design showcase, and learnt the mechanics of how a creative business is run. Through this I developed an understanding of branding and marketing techniques, gaining commercial awareness.

I participated in the planning of an exhibition, featuring the works of the local communities. I acted as contact point between the charity and the gallery, answering questions from charity benefactors, demonstrating excellent communication and organizational skills.
My role within curating the exhibition involved contributing my own self-directed research project, using information sourced from archives.
I acted as a filter for the event, ensuring a cohesive visual narrative. Using graphical pointers to aid the theme, I selected and presented ethnographic studies within the gallery space, targeting the specific audience of the community of Tower Hamlets.
