About me
I'm a writer and music journalist at the helm of Three Chords, a country music blog specialising in weekly playlists and also featuring #whatmadeyoucountry, music reviews and interviews. I am also a photographer with experience in motorsport (for Gulf Oil's Layer Marney Cup and BCU Racing), wedding photography (as a second shooter) and events (for Bellissima Boldmere), as well as hobbyist photography. I am keen to continue my work in the media and marketing sectors, expanding upon my experience in digital marketing, social media management and content creation. I would also love to further my work in the public relations sector, providing PR services to musicians, particularly within the country music genre. I am passionate about sustainability and equality, and I am committed to working hard to achieve higher levels of both in my professional and personal life.

I was responsible for maintaining an active presence on a number of social media channels - including content curation, compiling a portfolio of images and video for publicity both around the university and for team sponsors, and securing sponsors or otherwise publicising the team. My success in this role can be seen in the team’s 2017-18 partnership with Gulf Oil. I liaised with faculty, external sponsors and local press, secure partnerships for the team (Gulf Oil), manage communications between the team and others (Aston University, for friendly and Varsity events; IIT Mumbai as we hosted them prior to the event) and more. I also took charge of some of the event logistics (keeping track of people and equipment and making sure both made it to the right place at the right time), and co-presented the team's business presentation in front of event judges. I was successful in having articles about the team published in a local newspaper and a double-page spread including photographs published in a national (internal) newsletter for Gulf Oil. Copies of both can be provided. https://www.facebook.com/BCURacingOfficial/ https://www.instagram.com/BCU_Racing_Team https://www.twitter.com/BCURacing

Accredited by JAMES and the IET, this course was instrumental in my development of a number of technical and personal skills including the use of various consoles and software and the ability to prioritise tasks and manage my time efficiently. Key modules studied include advanced acoustics and psychoacoustics, audio electronics, digital electronics, audio for film and game and video production. My final degree project was a comparison of a number of commercial bass guitar distortion circuits and involved modelling the circuits and measuring distortion levels against raw signals.
