During my degree I developed the skills to be a strong leader but also learnt to diversify and be part of a creative team. The wide range of skills I was demanded to practice are relatable to all aspects of life. The course was a mixture of theory and practical and to name but a few of my challenges, I received a first in my dissertation having devised a documentary targeted at BBC 2, I designed the visual graphics for a live 20’ television game show and was assessed as a vision mixer, director & camera operator. I pitched original film and television show ideas to large audiences, learnt to structure the paperwork film and television, structured opinionated essays on a diverse range of subjects, learnt to make safe and reliable decisions in dangerous environments and approached and confirmed locations, actors and equipment for short films and television series on minimal budgets.
