I graduated from the Arts University Bournemouth in 2014 with a 1st class honours degree in Visual Communication. During the following summer I worked in a cocktail bar and at various festivals, and completed an internship with a university peer at Thinking Juice in Bournemouth. I then went travelling for a year to Australia and Asia. I returned in September in 2015 and completed a small amount of freelance graphic design work whilst continuing to work in hospitality jobs. During the spring of this year I joined Kings College London as a graphic designer, developing E-learning courses. I am a creative thinker with a real passion for imaginative ideas and interesting solutions to creative problems. I have a keen eye for design and typography and a love of clever interactive work that connects with its audience. I am always open to any creative opportunities and would love to hear from you!
I am currently developing E-learning courses at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at KCL. I primarily work as a graphic designer; creating graphics, building course presentations and publishing them online on the course portal. I am also involved in many other parts of the production including recording and editing lecture audio and filming lecturer interviews.
Responsibilities Senior Hospitality Bar tender. Managing other staff members on the bar. Cocktail specialist.
Over the summers of 2013 and 2014 I illustrated two children's books. Since then I have been also been involved in the marketing and promotion of the books.
A university peer and I formed a creative partnership as a copywriter and art director on an internship for Thinking Juice. Our job was to create advertising campaigns for Marshall Amps and Xpelair. We created outcomes for printed adverts and storyboards for TV ads. We worked closely with experienced partnerships and other departments to develop our projects.
I completed a months work experience at AMV in London. This involved mainly work shadowing to learn how the business worked, as well as working as part of a creative team and assisting on shoots.
