My role is to support the nursery staff in daily running of a busy, vibrant nursery. I process new staff members and children, process lateness, correspond with parents when neccessary. In my short time working here, I have successfully upgraded the central staff file system, centralising all necessary information of each member of staff; this made future updates and changes easier and more efficient. I have also created a all new semi-automated system to calculate staff lateness for monthly payroll.
I have migrated all paper forms and risk assessments to a digital using QR codes to open digital forms to fill out; successfully reducing paper waste and cost. Programs used: Word, Excel, Sharepoint and more (all at an intermediate level)
I have the responsibility to check child and staff registers.
