With over 9+ years of experience within hospitality, tourism, and leisure, from Barista to Rate Analyst. I have enjoyed working in a wide range of roles including Business Analysis, Operations Management and Project Management, most notably within the nationally renowned ‘Roadchef’ motorway service operator. KEY COMPETENCIES Successfully implemented data analytical projects for Roadchef, including the development and deployment of live data trackers to align leadership to key KPI’s that were previously being underutilised and invisible to the business. This included processing real time data to introduce new KPI dashboards to collate information from internal and external data sources. Supporting all key stakeholders including Directors and Site Directors by producing data driven insights for strategic planning. Implemented, managed and monitored the GDS (Global distribution system) Sabre Synxis for Days Inn by Wyndham. Introduced the business to Sabre GDS, ensuring a successful roll out across the brand as well as connectivity with the PMS was consistent, stable and secure at all times. Visually impactful dashboards creation in Excel and Power Bi for data analytical reporting. ETL tools experience such as Power Query to extract, cleanse and model data to identify key metrics and transform raw data into meaningful, actionable insights. Responsible for redesigning and updating a wide range of policies including process documents to enhance the business profitability and efficiency.     • Manage the GDS (Global Distribution System), ensuring successful connectivity with the PMS was consistent, stable and secure at all times. • Project managed system training across the country. Including system accessibility, user accounts, data architecture and data flow diagrams. • Responsible for the daily rate setting and statistics using benchmarking software such as STR and OTA Insights. Ensuring the brand was competitive and rates were balanced at all times. Measured and communicated feedback from platforms including Online Travel Agents such as Booking.com, Expedia and TripAdvisor to accurately establish rates. • Analysed data and ensured data flow (including Metadata OTA’s) was maintained and channels ran smoothly at all times to ensure the brand was fully visible to the world. • Solely responsible for the PMS (Rezlynx, Guestline) to maintain rate management, room management, and also the business operational management (housekeeping etc.) • Collaborated closely with Site Directors across 17 sites to develop quality relationships and communication between site and hotel, elevating inclusion of hotels within main Motorway Service Area sites. • Supported the Head of Hotels with the development of the Days Inn brand within Roadchef. • Enabled the implementation of new systems across the estate, enhancing the capability of a wide range of staff regarding usage and troubleshooting. • Monitored and maximised key KPI's including Weekly Revenue, ADR (Average Daily Rate) and RevPAR (Revenue per available room). • Strategically targeted opportunities from local attractions, festivals and business events to increase Average Daily Rate. • Maintained a strong line of communication with the maintenance team to ensure rooms were maintained and presented to the highest possible standard. • Diligently analysed onward systems, constantly assessing pricing and measurability against local competitors.
