About me
Hi there! I’m a freelance photographer based between UK and Spain (currently in Madrid)
I’ve worked with a range of production companies, small businesses and cultural organisations, creating visual content for editorial, design and social media projects.
I also have experience documenting the work of independent artists, including live events, performance, behind the scenes and stills for film and video.

Projects
- SymbiontA solo exhibition and series of curated events from botanical artists PYRUS; exploring symbiotic relationships in nature and between like-minded creatives. PYRUS is a botanical studio and Victorian walled cut flower garden, established in 2011 by founders Fiona Inglis and Natalya Ayers in East Lothian near Edinburgh. At Symbiont (Custom Lane) PYRUS will present site-specific installation pieces made in response to the ever-changing and deepening relationship with their Victorian walled garden
- EditorialPhotography commission for jewellery maker Karolina Baines. Shot at the Eden Locke Hotel (Edinburgh) I created a mixture of minimalistic portraiture in location with some close-ups of her designs, to be used across a range of printed and online promotional materials, social media channels, interviews and e-commerce.
- Scenes of youthPersonal work ...That day I wanted to capture their complicity, through their similarities but also defined personalities, in that particular moment in time into their teen years, as they are not kids anymore but still growing up, and what they might become, the strange magic of youth...
- Edinburgh Contemporary Clown FestivalI was commissioned to photograph the first edition of this amazing creative festival, covering the shows, audience reactions and masterclasses, along the three-days event. “…a fascinating festival, drawn together by the remarkable Scottish-based performance artist Saras Feijoo“ Joyce McMillan – The Scotsman.
- Weekend Warriors by Foto Femme UnitedLaunched in 2019 Foto Femme United fosters diversity, equity and inclusion of female and non-binary photographers worldwide. As a member of the collective, between April 2019 and November 2020 I was a contributor to the Weekend Warriors team, curating social media content aimed to promote female led projects, open calls and exhibitions, as well as reflecting on statistics that highlight intersectional inequality in the creative industries. Aimed to young entrepreneurs looking to develop a placement within a Scottish company, I had the opportunity to join Monica de Ioanni (established Performing artist, Choreographer and Movement educator) during her Artist Residency at the Work Room (Glasgow Tramway) for the development of a performance piece called 'Three Lines', documenting both her studio work and final performance.
