Sanne is a Material Researcher, Designer and Maker, graduated in 2016 with the masters Material Futures at Central Saint Martins. Her main interest as a designer is in material innovation, sustainability and future thinking. The production process is highly important in her work, where craft meets innovation and system design.
Sanne has exhibited her work at major institutions and exhibitions worldwide, such as the Hubei Provincial Museum (China), Textielmuseum (NL) and Museu del
Disseny de Barcelona (ES). Including talks at well known locations including Tate Modern, The Design Museum and Somerset House.
Her work is also been published in a range of articles, magazines and books, including DAMN magazine, FRAME, Design Indaba, Domus, WGSN and Thames & Hudson.
She has been nominated for various awards including H100 Award (2019), the New Material Award (2018) and the Katerva Award (2018).
