I am Sara Ferraris an Art director with extensive experience in brand strategy, editorial design and Digital.
In my current position as Art Director at Canali, luxury menswear company,
I run the design team and photography production. I supervise and work with photographers, stylists and graphic designers to develop the overall style of advertising campaigns including catalogues and the corporate web site.
I work directly with mrs Elisabetta Canali to develop the best approach and style and I develop budgets and timelines for the creative department activities and to present preliminary designs for approval.
At the moment I am also the art director of Hunter fashion magazine an independent magazine about fashion and illustration. It is about a search for what’s new and the definition of a point of view in Fashion, and above all a way to discover new talents in styling, photography and illustration.
In my early career I worked as Art Director at Yoox Net a Porter group where I was responsible for:
- Photo director for thecorner.com, shoescribe.com and yoox.com
- lead art direction and concept development of fashion shoots with photographers and stylists
- Design director; design all new digital products, art directing redesigns and subsites such as the special
collaboration landing pages.
- Primary manager of production for the site, including retouching and post-production of photographs,
production of all design assets and managing an assistant producer, a stylist and a graphic design team.
- Primary photographer for all in-studio still life for thecorner.com and shoescribe.com.
- Concept of all the advertising campaign
In one of my previous work experience I took part in a project for Triennale Milano, exhibition design for Sergio Pappalettera and for the Documenta (13) visual Identity project with the studio leftloft.
