About me
Over 8 years’ experience leading and managing marcom projects within the creative and charity sectors including project and budget management, business development and capacity building. I am now looking for a new role as part of a team that will enable me to use and further develop my skills in digital media and communications with a particular focus on strategy development that enhances the digital experience of users.

Supervising a team of 4 staff members as part of the Communications Department ensuring the organisation’s activities are communicated effectively, and monitoring and reviewing reports based on our weekly activity. • Audience Development: Reviewing digital media trends and data to identify new opportunities to promote the brand across digital platforms including social media. This includes creating engaging content to drive traffic to the website such as writing and sharing articles, introducing guest editors to the brand, and producing video content. My work has resulted in increasing the social audience by 120k followers within a year bringing the total number of followers up to 244K. • Public Relations: Overall responsibility for managing all PR activity for the organisation including identifying PR opportunities, training staff, representing the brand during events, managing press enquires, writing press releases, and preparing briefing documents and press packs. This has resulted in successfully increasing press coverage to an average of 50 mentions per month in comparison to the previous year. Coverage has included the BBC, The Guardian, The Telegraph, It’s Nice That, Wallpaper, Metro, The Evening Standard, Design Milk, and International Business Times. • Content Development: Using own initiative to identify international PR opportunities and creating content to raise brand awareness. I have written several articles for the Crafts Council and contribute to our weekly e-newsletters. I ensure the copy is SEO optimised and have overall responsibility for ensuring our corporate identity is adhered to. Articles I have written include interviewing artists such as Carl Clerkin, James Auger and Jimmy Loizeau, and reviewing trends at London Fashion Week.
