Worked as a sales assistant at This & That Boutique in Manly, Sydney. Duties included providing excellent customer service and styling advice, re-stocking, steaming, working at the cash point, opening and closing the store, and making sure the store was looking perfect at all times.
I assisted with buying choices, marketing strategies and ideas as well as on merchandising decisions. Additionally, I assisted with online social media strategies and I was the manager of one of the Lilis Boutiques located in Dubai whilst internally communicating with the others stores; another one located in Dubai, one in Jeddah and the online store.
I had to complete research for future collaborations, as well as helping, sourcing and contacting some manufacturers for a specific celebrity collaboration. I produced a report analysing the external and internal situation and the key drivers of the market. I also looked at a previous strategy that the brand conducted, which did not go very well and elaborated recommendations for the future based on appropriate and relevant primary and secondary research. I also helped with events: - Elaborating invitations, helping with the goodie bags and essential key things for an event in Paris. - Assisted at an event for Chinese customers at the flagship store in New Bond Street; invitations, guest list, greetings as well as helped organising and conducting the activities at the event. I researched and presented potential locations for photoshoots in Berlin and other areas in Germany. I worked in the showrooms; collecting samples for photoshoots or events and with the returns. VIP customers: I had to wrap, pack and send special gifts to VIP customers and make sure everything was looking perfect. Customer database: I was also in charge of updating the customer database.
I helped organising all the garments and accessories utilised for the photoshoot. I had to carefully put together and wrap the products lent by various brands, as well as making sure everything was ready to be returned on time.
