I am a highly creative, innovative and concept-driven Graphic Designer, Art Director and Visual Merchandiser with comprehensive experience gained from working in luxury fashion retail, food and arts organisations. I have a masters qualification in fine art photography. My practice is an investigation of beauty, time and memory where truth and fiction, real and imagined are intertwined to create a new reality. I explore photographic traditions including portraiture, still life, and landscape. More recently, I have been drawing upon my own experiences to explore these themes, investigating her mixed Welsh and Turkish parentage. It is through them and the family’s rich history of storytelling that I investigate my place in the world and the dynamic of western and eastern culture.
