    I have a masters qualification in fine art photography. My practice is an investigation of beauty, time and memory where truth and fiction, real and imagined are intertwined to create a new reality. I explore photographic traditions including portraiture, still life, and landscape. More recently, I have been drawing upon my own experiences to explore these themes, investigating her mixed Welsh and Turkish parentage. It is through them and the family’s rich history of storytelling that I investigate my place in the world and the dynamic of western and eastern culture.

    During my degree at Central Saint Martins I had the opportunity to work on briefs set by companies such as Diesel and illy coffee. My work has been exhibited at the Milan Furniture Fair and the Association of Photographers. While I was at Central Saint Martins I won the Royal Society of Art Student prize for structural packaging which led to a four month internship with Unilever UK.
