About me

Before founding VA in my Pocket I was a marketing specialist and copywriter in the corporate world for 11 years. In that time I worked with both large and small organisations and worked my way up from graduate copywriter to head of marketing. However, I always wanted to run my own company and help support other small businesses and marketing professionals with their marketing workload. This is where VA in my Pocket began and I now work with both marketing businesses and small businesses that aren’t ready to hire a full agency yet. I help them get their marketing campaigns on track by making sure all those tasks get done so they can focus on bigger things. We all know that marketing can be time-consuming, and if you’re not careful can take up all your time, leaving you nothing for the other important aspects of running a business. This is where I come in. VA in my Pocket is a virtual assistant business that helps business owners and marketing professionals get their time-consuming marketing tasks done. I realised during my time as a corporate marketer that there were a lot of marketing agencies and virtual assistants, but there weren’t any that combined the two. No one was offering a low-cost entry level marketing service for those not in a position to hire a big agency but still wanting the skills of a marketing professional. So, I created VA in my Pocket to fix this.
