Lux is a creative agency that focuses on graphic design, brand identity. web development, content creation, photography and photo retouching. They work with a variety of global brand including: Coca-Cola, Adidas, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Prada, Microsoft, GQ, Harper’s Bazaar, L'Oréal, Nine West, Elle, Covergirl, Glamour, Target, Marie-Claire, H&M, Martini, Sprite, Revlon, Tiffany & Co., Kitchen Aid, Lenovo, Hugo Boss, Amtrak, Constellis, Glam 4 Good and Serge Normant. My role at Lux involved: Graphic Design (print & web), website design, printing in house proofs, organization of job files and assisting on photo shoots.
My role at Gold Arrow Camp involved supervising a team of 5 photographers and one videographer, scheduling photographers, taking photos, photo organization, uploading photos online and creating a slideshow each session. Key Duties: Supervising & Scheduling Photographers: Training photographers in all aspects of their job. Overseeing the scheduling of photographers to ensure there is a photographer taking pictures whenever needed. Photo Organization: Sorting and organizing photos, including assigning keywords and labeling each photo. Photo Review & Uploading: Sorting through and uploading photos two to three times daily during activity periods. Reviewing photos taken by photographers. Logging all photos uploaded, and organizing photo assignments. Taking Photos: Taking or retaking photos as needed. Slideshows: Overseeing the creation of slideshows that include all campers & cabin groups. Creating a ‘Best of 2016’ file for pictures to use during the year for promotional purposes.
My role with Feeney Print involved designing for both print and web. I was responsible for creating and managing social media posts as well as creating a variety of different products for clients: posters, flyers, mugs, slates, t-shirts, business cards.
CCUSA are summer camp specialists and world leaders in the summer camp industry. CCUSA operates in over 60 countries and recruit thousands of individuals to work at one of 900 top summer camps in the US. My main role as a Marketing Representative and Graphic Designer was to promote the summer camp experience to a new generation of Camp Counselors in Ireland and create print and web designs. Key Duties: Provide valuable market research to maximise recruitment. Market the CCUSA programme through grass-roots efforts in Ireland. Build relationships with influential groups to increase brand awareness. Collate travel images and videos to publicise programmes. Manage social media for CCUSA Ireland. Present the program at various colleges and universities around Ireland. Scheduling and attend various promotional activities at universities and colleges across Ireland. Create designs for print and web: posters, flyers, brochure, pop up stand.
My role with Quality Print Direct was designing for a variety of different products: business cards, posters, brochures, flyers, calendars and books. The position involved working with multiple clients and managing more than one design brief at a time. I worked primarily with InDesign but also utilised Photoshop and Illustrator when required. I not only gained graphic design experience but also knowledge of printing and the finishing process.
