II am an outgoing and personable Scotland based filmmaker.
I have almost a decade's worth of experience working as a valued member of small teams. I am a highly creative and articulate individual who copes well under pressure and is capable of on the spot problem solving if conditions are not favourable. Capable of both taking direction and communicating clearly and effectively, I am proactive and keen to learn.
Through my industry experience and education I have gained great organisational and written skills. I have a wealth of experience directing and producing films, both with a crew and individually, creating content for online platforms and managing digital communications. During this time I freelanced for four different clients: The Edinburgh Gilbert and Sullivan Society, Fabric Bar and Restaurant, St Marys Music School and The Surefoot Effect . Freelancing allowed me to venture outside of my comfort zone and finesse my organisational, scheduling and concept development skills. I led on numerous successful marketing campaigns both for Puppet Animation Scotland and in my freelance roles. During this time I managed my own time and finances. Every one of these jobs I obtained through personal recommendations, proving that I possess a natural capability to do this work well and that I am a desirable person to work with.
