DesignerHack Partners
- London, United KingdomFull Time
Hack Partners is a technology consultancy notoriously known for The HackTrain initiative that runs 48-hour hackathons on moving trains.
We are a global leading provider of high impact technology services.
With years of experience, we deliver high quality hackathons, accelerators, conferences, innovation workshops, data reviews and management consulting projects.
As a multi-skilled, hybrid designer, I designed products for technology implementation projects with large organisations.
Due to the nature of working at a startup, I have to be a wearer of many hats, having organized large-scaled hackathons and conferences for global companies as well. My role involved marketing, organising and designing the entire event. I have work extensively with developers and have built a large community to attend our hackathons with one goal - to disrupt critical industries with innovative design and technology. In addition, I also designed and coded websites and internal productivity tools to grow the startup.

BScThe University of Manchester
- Manchester, United Kingdom
I was enrolled in the BSc Biomedical Science with Honours course in 2013.
For my final year project, I took initiative in researching all the projects that the academics of the Life Science Department of UoM were working on and approached more than 30 academics to find out more about their projects. This resulted in being one of the few students that self-arranged my own final year project, titled 'Chloramphenicol and its Effects on Chloramphenicol Acetyltransferase'.
I also developed an interest in Project Investment and enrolled in a course titled 'Investment Economics and Innovation'. My research into a possible endeavor in a specialist hotpot conveyor belt restaurant in Manchester contributed to my 2:1 Honours.
For my second year, I was selected as one of the few students to participate in the Exchange Programme at University of Queensland, Australia. I completed a course in "Introduction to Software Engineering" during my semester in Australia.
I was extremely proactive in the Manchester Entrepreneurs society which introduced me to the startup scene. I built a strong network with entrepreneurs throughout my university life which led me to an internship and eventually a job offer at Hack Partners, a tech consultancy based in Old Street, London.
