Acting assistant manager.
Supporting the manager with administration and financial tasks, and managing the shop floor and team, ensuring that standards are kept up, problem solving and delegating tasks.
Opening and closing the store and ensuring banking is sorted is a daily task. It is also a key responsibility to ensure all of the visual merchandising is up to company standards.
Taking charge of all administration and keeping in regular contact with all relevant people within head office to ensure that accurate figures are sent over.

Taking charge of ensuring the visuals for the diamond cabinets were as visually pleasing as possible. Learning a great amount about visual merchendising was a big part of this job, and attention to detail was essential.
Taking charge of the shop floor when the manager was off, being in charge of opening the store, dealing with deliveries and any problems regarding customers.
