Currently, I am the designer in the jersey license menswear team. My role includes presenting a vision and assortment for the upcoming season, creating designs based on trend research, attending fittings, translating designs into 3D on CLO and sending out tech packs to production. In addition, I look at the overall range plan for the season with my buyer to ensure we have the best spread of products and assortment for our customer.
Previously, I worked on the contemporary casual team and have worked on all woven and jersey departments. My main responsibilities included attending fittings, updating artworks, checking samples, creating designs from the visual goal and communicating with production.
A great opportunity I had on the shirt & knitwear team was to present a vision and assortment for shirts for spring summer 2021. This included key styles, upcoming style trends, key colours, fabrics, stripe and check trends and a development plan. During this time, I gained knowledge in the knitwear software, Shima, to develop knit designs and create jacquard patterns.

At H&M, I worked on the LOGG division assisting both the wovens and jersey teams. I attended fit sessions and meetings with buyers, updated artworks, created my own CAD designs and assisted in selecting fabrics and trims. I also took the opportunity to attend workshops to learn more about jersey, wovens and knitwear.
