About me
I am a professional and adaptable individual with over 7 years management experience, looking to move into a new creative environment. I helped set up and run a highly successful retail fashion brand development agency for over 6 years, and latterly formalised and honed my skills in the third sector when I ran the CEO’s office at a national charity. I am committed to becoming fully immersed in the next step, bringing my meticulous organisation, creative problem solving and proactive communication capabilities to a new challenge.

- Working closely with the CEO allowed me to gain first-hand involvement in the successful running of a national organisation. A detailed understanding of the vast array of expectations placed on his time helped me to manage it effectively, realistically and appropriately.
- I provided organisational and administrative support including complex diary and day-to-day office management, management of all incoming and outgoing communications, proactively prioritised and scheduled meetings, planned a wide variety of events and travel arrangements and contributed to ad hoc project work.
- I was the first point of contact for callers and visitors, liaising with trustees, colleagues and staff across the organisation and used initiative to confidently deal with matters and manage problems as they arose. I was also the main point of contact and support for the Directors in the Executive Group.
- Line management of two members of staff, taking a proactive role in their professional development.
- I involved myself in many volunteering opportunities and was a contributing member of the Health and Wellbeing group.

Logistics and General Manager, Product DeveloperIndigocult Ltd
- London, United KingdomFull Time
- Along with the business owner, I was involved from the conception of this highly successful fashion and development agency start-up. When I departed, we had grown the business significantly and supplied stores and e-comm businesses worldwide, increasing from just 2 to 6 employees and representing 10 brands.
- As the business grew, my role evolved and was intensely varied throughout, enabling me to gain experience and develop key skills across a wide range of responsibilities.
- Initially my work focused on building strong and profitable client relationships both with large key accounts and smaller independent businesses both in the UK and globally. I managed these across our range of brands with a focus on long term organic business growth. I held responsibility for all logistical, organisational and administrative processes including the training and recruitment of staff, supervision of all transport and logistical channels, brand development and ownership of key accountancy and financial reporting tasks.
- As the business evolved, my remit grew to encompass, among other day to day tasks, budget management, creation and management of staff contracts, creation of company policies, shoot production, distribution centre management and management of IT and supplier contracts.
- I project managed the development of the agency’s first footwear brand by designing the range, sourcing manufacturers and managing the supply chain at each stage from order submission until end delivery. We received an order from ASOS.com from our very first collection.
