About me
Hi my name Sarah. I’m a freelance photographer and writer, my Strongest area of study would be Wildlife photography However I have also been known to dabble in travel and Documentary photography. As for my writing, my main area’s of content would be either Movie/tv show reviews (preferably the marvel Cinematic universe) or historical Writings, preferably on ancient civilisations or Renaissance England. While I do minor editing on my pictures to brighten them up, I don’t do much on the editing side.
Projects
  • City on the water
City on the waterWhile on a cruise I was approached by a couple who were in their honeymoon, once they figured out I took photographs for a living they offered me a substantial amount of money to shadow them once we were in Venice and take several shots of them enjoying everything Venice had to offer. While I won't publish the couple's personal pictures on here (I don't have their permission) I was able to take several location shots during my free time.
  • Springtime Beauty
Springtime BeautyI have always loved spring time, it's only when you put down your phone and actually take time to go on a walk through the footpaths and take in nature's full beauty do you realise just what your missing out on.

    NCSNational Citizen Service
was given the opportunity once I’d left school to participate in the National citizen's award. It took place over 4 weeks where you would be given obstacles you needed to overcome. Our first week was all about trust and teamwork. We spent 5 days at an outdoors centre where we were challenged to overcome our fears and rely on each other. Be it making a floatable raft out of long wooden sticks and barrels or working as a team to Finnish the obstacle course before the other teams having everyone bring their unique skills. Our second week was spent at Manchester university, we were given a limited budget of £15 and be had to make that last a week between us including buying an outfit that one would potentially wear to a job interview. In the last two remaining weeks, we were allowed to create a project that would benefit our community. We chose to raise money for the children’s ward at Peterborough hospital, by organising a sponsored 10-mile walk and was able to raise around £3,000. It was an amazing 4 weeks and I came out of the experience with lifetime friends and am certificate signed by the Late Duke of Edinburgh.
