    - I was responsible for managing varied product categories including shirting, soft accessories, coating and hard products. - I followed each of my categories from research and initial development to gold seal approval. - I provided varied and extensive research using diverse sources to ensure relevant and on brand concepts for our capsule collections and our RTW range. - I helped to devise our bespoke service and remain involved in the development of new styles and fabrics - I made frequent store visits and attend store staff education sessions, for which I provided relevant design and fabric information - I made sure to keep informed of interesting and new developments within the industry, with particular regard to sustainability and fabric innovation as well as competitor research. - I travelled frequently on behalf of the company to visit potential suppliers, as well as maintaining existing relationships and visiting archives at the beginning of each season.

    - I was responsible for all menswear categories whilst working very closely with the head of design. - I managed assistant/junior designers and interns to ensure that all deadlines were met within our critical path. - I followed all categories throughout the fitting process up to gold seal and helped re-develop our core trench line; sourcing new fabrics and new suppliers both within the UK and abroad. - Maintaining brand identity and the rich heritage of Aquascutum was an integral part of my role. I cultivated new concepts and provided contemporary ideas in order to move the collection and brand forward each season. - Another part of my role was to work closely with brand communications on concepts/treatments for lookbooks, campaigns and website content to ensure that collections were consistently and imaginatively communicated.
